We have been busy lately with some canvas and paints. Here is a preview of some finished and work in progress pieces. I hope you enjoy 🙂
Yesterday was full or surprises. First we found out that 7-11 (one of the best convenient stores) is having their birthday celebration and giving out free slurpee’s, then after ingesting all the sweet goodness we noticed that one of our favorite shops (pinkghost) is having an art showing. So we headed down and had a blast. We got to meet and hang out with the totally talented featured artists pictured below ( Yosiell Lorenzo, Matthew Ryan Sharp, Betso ), and see some super cool art. The band was killer and so were the people, and to top it of we were wired the whole night courtesy of Monster Energy drinks 🙂
Sunday is here and we are exhausted. Yesterday was the Pinkghost Fun Fair and it was a blast. We got to meet a lot of super nice people and the response from everyone was amazing. There were live bands, great food, and awesome artists. It was amazing to see the art painted on the wall and I was surprised to find out that the next day it was all going to painted over white 😦 . We got so many compliments on our booth which made all the hard work worth it and had an awesome time selling our shirts, art, and plush monsters. Check out some pics below from start to finish.
We have been brainstorming on ideas for the pink ghost fun fair. It is still a bit away but its always good to start early. Take a sneak peak below at some paintings that are still in progress, but will be finished and sold at the event. We will also have some other non t shirt goodies that we will be selling. So keep checking back for updates…
As always the weekend goes by too fast. If only we could flip it around and work for 2 days and have 5 days off. Well, at least we do something we love so those 5 days of “work” are not that bad 🙂 . It’s unlucky all the fun activities usually fall on the weekend.
Saturday we went to our good friends awesome barbecue. The food was amazing, it tasted as good as it looks in the picture. Then we sat down and decided to paint, draw, and make these fun little ghosts from some tree seeds that we found. Good times always seem to go by quickly, and now its Monday:(
We had a great time visiting our friends over at pinkghost. They were holding their eight by eight group art show, which was a collection of 8×8 canvases done up by some outstanding artists. We saw some great art, and to top it of, at the end of the night we got some delicious pie samples from the purple pie company. It was a blast!
Previously we posted about a super cool store we found called the Pink Ghost. While there we picked up a Kidrobot do it yourself Munny, and a Toy2r do it yourself Baby Qee. This was our first time painting something like this, but it definitely won’t be our last. It was a fun experience because we love to put our creativity to work.
In other news we have got a fresh new set of T shirts coming out with our new site ( Almost complete we swear 🙂 ) so be sure and keep checking back or sign up for our newsletter to hear about it first.
We have stumbled across a very cool store right in our own area. Its called the Pink Ghost. You can find so many things there from some cool artists, as well as a huge selection of vinyl and plush toys. They also put on events every month that we are sure to go and check out, it looks like tons of fun. Check them out. www.pinkghost.net
We recently got a email from a few FFee supporters, they sent a picture which you can see below. Their names are not important ( Jean on top, Juan in the middle, and Pitu on the right ). They always find themselves getting into trouble, and would like some help. Maybe they feel self conscious because of the lack of eyes, or large bones sticking out of their head, or because they are very very small. Good or Bad we like everyone, and would like to give a hand. So please leave your comments about these guys to make them feel better, it might change their life around.
